Each skull is cast in the finest Sterling silver and then textured, oxidized and carefully polished individually and entirely by hand. We used scans of real human skulls to ensure absolute anatomical accuracy down to the finest detail, and tried countless techniques until we replicated the texture of real bone. Every minuscule feature is captured - individual teeth, the blade of the nose bone, the spinal socket - nothing is overlooked. Weighing a solid 28 grams, not only does the skull look unlike any other, its weight and tactile nature are unique too.
