A soft blue-and-cream medallion sits on the coral field, the whole surface worn by decades of use into a gentle pastel — the loose Oushak medallion of the Uşak region in western Anatolia. The medallion traditionally marks a calm, harmonious home. That distressed, faded character is exactly what collectors look for in a genuine vintage Oushak. The coral and blue together read soft and almost coastal. Worn, gentle and genuinely old.
