BUILD YOUR OWN CYBERNETIC ARM

Create an advanced cybernetic arm for cosplay, sci-fi costumes, LARP characters, photo shoots, displays, and personal maker projects.

Originally designed by AscensionX, this wearable robotic arm kit features a detailed mechanical appearance and segmented construction that can be scaled, assembled, painted, and customized for your own cyborg, android, or futuristic character.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE

The download contains 8 STL files for only the left arm with 17 printable components in one compressed 7z archive:

• 14 finger components
• 1 hand component
• 2 arm and forearm components

Use the mirror function in your slicer to produce the right arm or a complete matching pair.

DIMENSIONS AND SCALING

At the included scale, one completed arm measures approximately:

• 46 × 10 × 10 cm
• 18.1 × 3.9 × 3.9 in

The model can be resized in your slicer. Measure the wearer and test the scale before printing the complete arm.

PRINTING RECOMMENDATIONS

For the best results, follow the recommended orientations shown in the print-orientation photo included in this listing.

• Fingers: Place each section on its flattest side and print it vertically.
• Hand: Print it upright with the wrist opening directly on the build plate.
• Arm sections: Print both large pieces vertically with a slight angle and adequate supports. This orientation provides the best finish on the visible surfaces.

Suggested starting settings:

• Layer height: 0.16–0.20 mm
• Walls: 3
• Infill: approximately 20%
• Material: ABS, PLA, PETG, or another suitable FDM filament

Settings may require adjustment according to your printer, material, and desired strength.

ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING

This is a DIY project. Removing supports, test-fitting, sanding, gluing, assembly, priming, and painting may be required. Glue, gloves, straps, fasteners, electronics, printed parts, paint, and other assembly materials are not included. This model is a decorative costume prop. It is not a functional prosthetic, protective equipment, or a combat accessory.

FILE DELIVERY

The STL files are supplied in a compressed 7z archive. You can open it using 7-Zip or another compatible application. The files will be available as an instant download after Etsy confirms your payment.
