Amazing antique human Skull sculpture, lost wax casting in metal alloy,rich in details and realistic as you can see and hollow internally.
Used as "Memento Mori", it meant in the medieval Latin Christian theory and practice of reflection on mortality, especially as a means of considering the vanity of earthly life and the transient nature of all earthly goods and pursuits.
It has no sign, very good conditions.
Pretty heavy,it weighs 1,4 kg (3.1 lb).
It's so incredibly much more beautiful than the images!
I found it in a quite bizarre of a passed away quite bizarre guy.
Dimensions are 5.8" high, 7.9" wide, 4.5" depth.
