Antique Coalport Hand Painted Sweet / Bon Bon Dish

The dish is decorated with a well known design from Coalport called Indian tree.

The main design on the dish is transfer and has hand painted colour on top, there is also hand painted gold gilding around all of the edge.

The gilding appears more copper coloured in photos, this is because I have purposely not polished it so not to risk any damage but this could be easily polished.

The back of the dish has the Coalport logo which was used from 1920s onwards.

The edge of the dish is a wave shape, like a frill. Could be used for sweets, jewellery or just as a display piece.

Lovely piece of old ceramic, in good condition for age no chips or cracks only small amount of crazing.

Height - 4 cm
Width - 14.5 cm
Length - 17.8 cm
