This helmet is greatly combined historical authenticity and modern requirements for HMB and IMCF/ So it can be used for both - reenactment and steel fights.

The visor (hundsgugel) is attached by a side-mounted pivot. It can be removed or replaced by another model.

Material: hardened high carbon steel + woolen aventail (custom color) + padded fabric gambeson;

The opening visor can be lifted between the combats for air and water drinking, and it stays lifted without holding. The soft padding inside is amortized hits well, and two leather belts hold the helm reliably on the head. The additional belt on the back can be attached to your brigandine to prevent neck injuries. Each took two fasteners: a leather strap that matches historical accuracy and a hidden button that completely prevents the helmet from being accidentally opened in battle, even when the skin is cut.

A few words about the thickness of the helmet: For full contact with HMB and IMCF, we recommend a 2.5 mm non-hardened dome. Since it is precisely this option that holds well even the strongest blows, and during critical damage, he kneads and does not crack. What makes it safer and more durable. For any other thickness of helmet, please contact us and place a custom order. All helmets are made in our workshop and have high-quality Ukrainian armor.
