This handmade metallic shimmer watercolour paint features a gorgeous Lilac purple colour which provides beautiful light gues to contrast against the deep richness of the other parts of the Cosmic nights line! It is part of the Honeybee Pigments Cosmic Nights range which features several blues, silvers and purples which compliment this colour nicely for the galaxy paintings that inspired this set!

It is ideal for use in calligraphy inks, hand lettering and accent work for watercolour painting. Much love went into creating these paints, with each taking 3 to 4 sometimes even 5 layers of paint, which each one drying before the next is added, I only buy the very best pigments and mica for my paints which means you get the very best paint! Despite this process, handmade paint is prone to some air bubbles and after a lot more tapping of the little half pans than I ever care to admit, sometimes air bubbles may persist, but because every paint I make is hand mulled with love you may notice a couple of little bubbles, and occasionally cracking in some paint lines (this is normal but very unusual for my lines) and it doesn't affect the paint quality in any way!

To capture the real beauty of this paint, you may need to tilt your paper you swatched on under a light, or even nip outside into the sunlight and see how beautiful it really is, it also shows up gorgeous on black paper too believe it or not! don't believe me check out the listing photos! A flashlight also brings out the shimmer too, I love watching paint dry (not sure if that a paint maker thing) but just watching all of the beautiful little twinkles shift and swirl as it does is so beautiful!

It is worth noting though, this isn't safe to eat or use on skin!

For best results? apply 2 to 3 drops of water onto the paint and wait a minute, reactivate your paint with a brush, and away you go!
