CIGALE DE PROVENCE ACRYLIC COTTON COATED FRENCH FABRIC BY THE YARD:
Our gorgeous CIGALE DE PROVENCE fabric will bright up your decoration with its elegant Traditional French Country Provence Design. This design features different shades of yellow and green colors on a royal blue background.

- THE FABRIC IS CUT AS ONE PIECE OF THE TOTAL OF YARDS ORDERED.
Ex: If you order 2 yards (Length=1 yard / Quantity=2)
The fabric will be cut in ONE PIECE of 2 yards (72" X 60")

* PLEASE, SEND US A MESSAGE when you place your order if you need the total fabric ordered to be cut in more than one piece.
Ex: If you ordered a total of 2 yards and need 2 pieces of fabric of 1 yard each (instead of one piece of 2 yards).

- RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY: There are NO RETURNS/EXCHANGE after we cut and ship your custom sized fabric but if you have any issue with your order, please contact us and we will be more than happy to help.

- MATERIAL: This fabric is made of 100% cotton with a soft wipe clean acrylic matte satin finish. The coating is soft and supple that you can only feel by touching it but still looks like regular cotton. The acrylic finish makes the fabric water and stain resistant to food and drinks (even wine!).
Two layers of acrylic coating are bonded to the natural cotton fibers, then an additional layer of stain resistant protection is added, they are great for all outdoor and indoor projects.
This fabric will not fray at all, the coating will prevent the edges from fraying.
They are pliable and super easy to cut and work with.

This fabric is not totally UV proof, but the acrylic coating will slow down the fading process and will work very well for outdoor projects (tablecloths, decorative pillows, cushion covers, chair covers, etc.)
This fabric can stay outside but it is not recommend leaving outside (overnight) for an extended period of time, especially on rainy days since nothing is mold or mildew proof. It is 100% NON-TOXIC, totally safe for your health and the environment.

- SIZE: Approximately 61 Inches wide. All fabric is cut directly from the bold.

- WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
It is so easy to care for, no washing is really necessary:
*If any food or drink spills, just spray some stain remover and wipe it off with a wet cloth and dry with a dry cloth.
*If necessary, it can be washed in the machine Cold Water ONLY Hand Wash Cycle - Hang to dry NO DRYER.
*If ironing is needed, steam iron on the reverse side using "Cotton Setting".
Iron Starch or Wrinkle Release Spray helps remove any folding marks or wrinkles.

- STAINS:
Please keep in mind that the Acrylic is a treatment we apply on the fabric to avoid stains (making the cotton stain resistant) but it is still fabric, not plastic so most of your daily food and drink spills are easily gone if removed quickly. If spills are left too long, especially wine, berries, tomato sauce, mustard, ketchup or any other strong color spills they might stain the Acrylic.
Some stains are very hard to remove! Ex: red and yellow curry, turmeric, tea (in the old days tea was used to dye a cotton fabric).
This fabric does not prevent stains from: permanent markers, newspaper ink, artificial food colorants, nail polish, etc.
* If you get a stubborn stain, please contact us and will try to help by giving you some stain removing options.
Please, don't wash your tablecloth before removing the stain. Water will set the stain and stain removers won't work as well anymore.

- SEWING TIPS:
* It is advised to use a stitch length of 3.5 or 4.0 with a superior polyester thread (#7 needle, or you can use a universal larger size if you prefer).
* The cotton coated fabric can be slightly sticky but here are a few tips:
- The scotch tape method: Apply a short piece of scotch tape to the bottom of your foot, this will help your foot to slide across the surface as the fabric passes underneath.
- The Sewer’s Aid: Apply a thin coating of sewers aid onto the fabric. The oil allows the presser foot to glide smoothly and doesn't stain the fabric.
- If you work with coated fabric often, you should consider buying a foot with nonstick sole or even better a walking foot.

PS: In case of defect or if the wrong fabric is sent, we will send a self-stamped envelope for the return of the fabric and we will send a replacement.
