Called "birth wishes" rather than a plan, since a birth is not an event that can be planned like a script, but rather something one prepares for with love, trust, and letting go. ♡

My goal with this birth plan is to offer women a simple and practical plan, and to offer several avenues for reflection regarding their childbirth.
I want to help them protect their bubble, offer them an overview of the choices available to them, and help them feel safe enough to let go and confidently dive into the vortex of childbirth. ♡

I encourage you to learn more about the topics proposed in this plan, to see both sides of the coin, and to make informed choices.
I cover everything from the atmosphere in the room, to methods of managing contractions, possible medical interventions, pushing, the post-birth stay, the care given to the baby, wishes in the event of a possible epidural or cesarean section, etc.
I've also included spaces to add elements to each section, as well as two blank "relevant information" sections where you can write down anything important for you for the staff to know during your delivery. (Fear of needles, trauma related to certain procedures, additional medical information, etc.)

The term "partner" is used to ensure the plan is seamless and customizable for both same-sex and heterosexual couples. ♡
