Legion Of Death is a Death Thrash band from Denver, Colorado formed in 1985. The band started as just a house party band. After some early member changes Mike Mcfarlin came to Legion in 1987. LOD would go on to perform throughout Colorado and the neighboring states and gaining high popularity. Legion of Death flame would burn out in 1990. Members would go on to create bands like ANATHEMA and ASYSTOLE. 27 years later the fire was re-lite and the band has now reformed with original members Mike Mcfarlin on Guitar and Andy Pffeifer on Bass. Staying true to the death thrash genre and beating out LOD classics like “death sentence” and crowd favorite “sewer rat” are a staple in the bands set list. But with a new twist as Leonard Leal (member of cephalic carnage) has taken over the vocal duties, Christian Petersen (member of zombie hate brigade) takes over on bass and Joe Howard (member of scalafrea) bashes the drums. A new and heavier formulated version of Legion of death has invaded Colorado.
