How long are your lead times?

The estimated delivery time is displayed on all of our listings but our lead times are typically between 1-2 weeks for small items, 2-3 weeks for standard items and 3-6 weeks for customised or bespoke designs. As we make everything by hand, the lead time may vary slightly, so it could be a few days shorter or longer. Feel free to check in with us for a more specific update on the ETA, and we'll do our best to provide you with our most accurate estimate. The closer we get to the dispatch date, the more precise we can be!

Do you take custom orders?

Of course! You are more than welcome to send over your ideas and we'll get personalised quote for you :)

How thick is the wood you use?

The wood we use for most of our designs is 3.1cm thick. This can also be customised.

Is the wood strong enough for large monitors and heavy equipment?

Absolutely! Unlike laminated wood or bolt-together aluminium legs, we use joinery-grade solid wood, and the legs are made from welded solid steel. This means the desk can support A LOT of weight without any risk of bowing over time. Large monitors and heavy musical equipment won't even come close to reaching its weight capacity :)

Is the furniture delivered pre-built or flat packed?

All of our furniture is delivered with the legs detached. This makes it easier to carry through narrow doorways and hallways, and it also reduces the risk of damage during transit. A simple assembly will be required to attach the legs, and we provide the necessary fixings along with detailed assembly and care instructions. All you'll need is a basic screwdriver. Items such as vinyl record storage units, 19" rack cabinets, bookcases, and studio desks will arrive pre-built, with only the legs needing to be attached.

Do you ship outside of the UK?

Yes, we do! While we have fixed delivery fees for specific locations, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if you're looking to order a bespoke design or a combination of our products. We'll do our best to secure the lowest possible shipping cost for you. Kindly note that while we use fast and reliable courier services to expedite the process, we cannot control any potential customs-related delays.

The finishing products we use for our furniture are water based and non toxic. That means they require little to no maintenance and they are environmentally friendly! The surface can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and a general purpose spray cleaner for a regular clean as and when required. Avoid excess heat or dryness, as this can cause wood to split and crack. Be sure to keep your furniture away from heat sources such as fireplaces or radiators. In damp rooms or during wet, rainy seasons, use a dehumidifier to remove excess moisture from the air. Keep furniture out of direct sunlight. You can refresh the look of your furniture every 6-8 months by dampening a cloth with a bit of danish oil and wiping the surface along the grain.

Is the furniture suitable for outdoor use?

Unless you order one of our listings specifically described as suitable for outdoor use, your furniture is not designed for outdoor conditions. While outdoor furniture can be used indoors, indoor furniture is not suitable for outdoor use. If you're considering using your furniture both indoors and outdoors, please let us know in advance so we can build it accordingly.

I'm based outside of the UK. Will there be customs charges and/or tariffs on my order?

All costs, including delivery, customs, import duties, taxes and tariffs are included in our prices. The final price you see at checkout is the full price you will have to pay for your order without any additional surprise charges when your order is on its way to you. Please note that your local customs may still contact you to request confirmation of your details in order to release the shipment for delivery. Your prompt response will help avoid any delays or even a possible return to sender situation.

Enhance your living space with our rustic coffee table featuring a lift up top!

This coffee table is made with reclaimed timber, purchased from the local wood up-cycling business.

The hairpin legs are made of steel and they come in different colours and heights. The extendable arms are also made from a local supplier and they are made of steel.

The standard height for this table is 45cm when not extended and around 60cm when the top is lifted.

Every coffee table is made to order so the dimensions can be fully customisable. If the listing dimensions aren't suitable for what you are after, please feel free to contact us directly with your desired dimensions and we will make it to measure for you.

The current example in the photos is finished in our English Oak finish which is water-based as well as eco-friendly. Our finishing products also seal the wood to make it heatproof, waterproof and easy to wipe clean. There are more colour variations such as the ones that can be seen in the samples photo. The unit can also be painted or stained to your preferred colour if none of the above choices are suitable.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Wood is a living, breathing material. It responds to its environment and, like all living things, it ages. Natural wood has characteristics that include knots, variations in grain, and differences in colour. Drying the wood properly reduces splitting and warping but because wood is living, its moisture content will fluctuate based on the humidity of its surroundings and will cause some natural movement. Our coffee tables are thoughtfully designed, manufactured, and finished with care, to allow for this natural movement of the wood.

Any imperfections in solid wood reveal its age and history and the reclaimed planks that we use for our pieces may be faintly uneven and may cup or bow very marginally over time. These variations in the wood are to be expected and celebrated and we promise that they will not affect the functionality or structural integrity of the piece. In truth, these little imperfections enhance the unique character of the furniture which means that you can be certain that no other coffee table will be exactly like yours.
