LITTLE LOVE BIRD is just like it sounds...a cute little bird sitting on a branch with a tiny little heart. It is a very simple design that looks great painted in bright fun colors or glazed to be sleek and shiny. See the last example photo for examples of color finishes. I offer solid color glazes, pastel underglazes, painted, and bisque (no color).

LITTLE LOVE BIRD pendants and cabs are usually pretty small, about 1" round. Each piece will vary slightly in size and shape, as they are each handmade.

You can purchase this or any of my ceramic designs as a necklace or wrap bracelet, or as a pendant bead (one hole), bracelet bead/connector (2 holes, curved or flat), or as a cab (a flat tile with no holes - good for pins, magnets, and mosaics.)

My ceramic pieces are made of white earthenware clay, which is kiln fired to cone 05 (the clay that I use is low fire). Charms can be painted (for a more matte finish) or glazed (for a shiny, permanent finish). The backs are usually left as bare clay, which is porous and can be used with essential oils. If you plan on using them with oils, I do recommend glazes over paints for the finish.

Charms may also be ordered in bisque form, which means that they are ready for you to add your own colors. You can use acrylics, watercolors, inks, glazes and more.

Necklaces come with a soft leather cord that can be tied to your desired length. Wrap bracelets come with a color coordinating cotton T-shirt cord - that just wraps around your wrist and ties.
