This floral hummingbird original mixed media painting makes a unique gift for home or office. Featuring a spring bouquet of lilies, delphiniums, roses, ranunculus, lavender, and balloon flowers, this painting is an offering of love, a dedication to the Heart Chakra, Anahata in Sanskrit, which translates as "unstruck." From this dwelling place resides a wellspring of nourishment, love, joy, and vitality. It makes a particularly lovely gift for Easter, Mother's Day, and Baby Showers.

I created this painting during a time when I felt like my faith in the Universe was really starting to waiver. Determined to keep a positive outlook and seek out the hidden potential in the challenges I was experiencing, I turned to Hummingbird for its spirit of fierce determination along with its medicine of joy, levity, and sweetness.

Together, we created this beautiful offering of love, and the art served as a powerful way to recharge and renew my energy. It features favorite flowers that I've gifted to myself over the past year in gestures of self-care, and it's infused against a dreamlike topographic backdrop of the places that bring even more joy, vitality, and aliveness into my heart: mountains, rivers, lakes, and valleys.

In addition to supporting love, determination, optimism, and joy, this art piece also invites slow contemplation and clear seeing. The intricacies and nuances that exist within this piece are barely perceptible upon initial glance. To experience the breadth and depth of the topographies requires a certain level of patience, and with a willingness to see beyond the surface, one is rewarded with great adventures. a lifetime. A white 1/4" border surrounds the image for easy framing.
