Each one of our Oyster Shells has been carefully hand picked off the Bayside Shores of Cape Cod, MA. The shells are gathered after washing up on the shore and you can be certain, this is after their inhabitants have moved out. Each shell is then carefully cleaned and sun dried. All of these beauties measure about 3.0 to 3.5 inches long.

As you may have already guessed, all shells will have imperfections as they used to be a home to a small animal...so no two will ever be the same. The size, shape and imperfections of each one will vary and that is what makes each shell a true one of a kind.

After we have applied the design and then seal it, we carefully gold leaf the edges and leave the back of the shell in it's natural state.

These beautiful shells are hand made and we take our time carefully crafting each one.

All of our Oyster Shells will arrive to you or the gift recipient, attractively boxed and ready for gift giving.

Sizing Guide
Slip-on Sizing: To get the best fit we suggest you take a cloth measuring tape, or a piece of string will work just as well. Measure around the thickest part of your hand with your thumb pressed into the inside of your palm where the bracelet will slip over before it gets on your wrist.

It is best to measure the hand you are planning to wear it on. If you are unsure, measure both and go with the larger measurement. The bracelets will shrink when they get wet so it is a good idea to "size up" if you are planning on taking them on and off. Most just put it on and let it shrink and wear it until it is so ratty looking it is time to cut it off and get a new one.

Keeping it Clean: A clean Sailor's Bracelet is for some folks, but not for all....for many, this bracelet is worn 24/7 for years. Do remember that it will never be as clean and tidy looking as the day you receive it. You are out making memories in it after all.
