What a wonderful heavy coat!!!~A wonderful vintage French men's hunting coat dating c1970's-? The French call them Canadian coats :) ? This coat has faux fur ?? collar and inside it is lined with sheep's wool. It is certain to keep you warm!! The body is brown canvas cotton. This coat is superbly heavy, and ideal for winter use. It has several great pockets externally, and charming wooden buttons. The two lines of buttons give this jacket a double breasted appearance. There are also belt loops on the side back seams, but there is no belt associated with this. The sleeve lining is in need of some help, ( please see condition details below) but with a little love this coat could be keeping you warm very soon!!! ~

MEASUREMENTS : This coat measures approximately :
32 inches long
45 inch chest
42 inch waist
23 inch sleeves
21 inches from shoulder to shoulder

CONDITION : This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. I would recommend dry cleaning it. As stated above, the sleeve lining has a hole in it at both wrists, but it remains intact along most of the arms. Could be fixed if you so desire! There are some small holes and stains all over, as well as some rips that have been mended, and some rips that have not. One of the wooden buttons is missing on the side that buttons. there are also some small patches missing in the fur collar, as seen in the photos. All in all, this piece could use some love and would be a great winter jacket! All condition reflected in price.
