This multi-use square cloth is lovingly designed for those who like to live an eco-friendly lifestyle. Inspired by the elegant and thoughtful Japanese art of furoshiki, which is a versatile way to wrap gifts and other things in cloth. I imagine it being used for a host of activities- as a replacement for single-use giftwrap, on a picnic as a carrying bag and picnic cloth, wrapping wedding favours, as a seasonal photo backdrop, wall hanging, table centrepiece... the list goes on! Give it away to be circulated and loved, or be cheeky and ask for it back!
This listing is for my light and airy 'Hellborus' pattern. Inspired by the first signs of Spring, featuring helleborus, snowdrops and semi-abstract greenery. Will also transition really well in to Summer wrapping- it's just a lovely and airy, crisp botanical pattern.
If you'd like more inspiration for wrapping gifts or items the furoshiki style, the internet has a whole wealth of techniques and ideas. Or a simple square knot does wonders (as seen in the example photos). Tie on a little label or sprig of greenery for added decoration.
