Chris Riggs for Mayor is born and raised in New York. Chris began painting when he was 3 years old with his grandfather from Italy.Riggs father was killed by in a hold up at his store in Manhattan when he was 7 years old. At age 11, Chris' medium was aerosol, painting murals in the abandoned buildings and train tunnels of New York City. At age 17, Chris traded in his spray cans for a paint brush. He studied painting formally with canvas at Columbia university.Chris Riggs now lives and works in NYC and Miami. Chris has made and sold 1000's of paintings! He has had and curated over 200 art shows all around the world. His paintings and drawing have been commissioned for collectors all around the world.
