This handsome bodice is French and dates circa 1900. It is made what feels like rayon, possibly mixed with some wool?, and it snaps up the front. It has a small pattern in the fabric that looks like arrows! Please see photos for more detail. I love the pleating detail down the front of this bodice. Such an inspiring little piece! Lovely condition for its age! This bodice would be great for (gentle) wear, or remarkable as a design piece! ~ Please see condition of this bodice below.

Length: 19 inches long
Chest: 37 inches
Waist: 37 inches
Shoulders across the back: 14 inches
Sleeves: 21 inches long from shoulder seam to cuff

CONDITION : This blouse is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. This blouse has some light storage marks that will not wash, as well as a few small holes. The fabric at the nape of the neck has weakened over time, so you can see through it when held up to the light. This blouse could still be worn but due to its age the fabric may have weakened some.
