Softness is subjective. So how soft you view a certain fabric varies from person to person. We have a lot of feedback that our products are soft. If you find you are very sensitive to fabrics, you might find that real wool might be a little tickly.

We use Norwegian new wool (or lambswool). New wool is the finest, softest fleece that generally comes from a lamb’s first shearing, usually when the lamb is six or seven months old. It is less likely to cause skin irritation, as often the older a sheep gets the rougher the wool becomes. New wool is excellent for blankets and bedding (and allergy sufferers) because it’s hypoallergenic and resists dust mites. It is also very breathable and so helps your body regulate temperature.

Natural Insulator. Due to the crimped nature of wool fibres, they form numerous small air pockets that trap air, helping to provide a thermal barrier.

Breathable. Wool has a capacity to absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture, making it incredibly breathable and comfortable in warm and cold conditions.

Resilient. Wool fibres can be bent back on themselves more than 20,000 times without breaking and are more resistant to tearing than other fibres.

Dirt-repellent. The surface of wool fibre is water-repellent (but is permeable to water vapour) and lanolin provides resistance to moisture. This gives the wool fibre natural dirt-repellent.

Easy care. While hand-wash is recommended, many wool products can now be machine-washed.

You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Customers are responsible for return postage. Your item must be in the original packaging and sent “Recorded Delivery”. Please be sure to retain the receipt or proof of purchase for the return postage, as it remains your responsibility until we receive it.

If you are returning your order from outside the UK, please mark the parcel as a ‘return’ on your customs label. If you fail to do so, any charges incurred at customs will be deducted from your refund.

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned
item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. When approved, we will initiate a refund via Etsy.

Please be aware that if you have not paid import duties and taxes, which is individual to each country, and the parcel gets returned to us, these charges will be deducted from your refund.

Shipping costs are non-­refundable. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

If your order has been delivered by DHL Express we can email you a return label. The label will need to be printed out, stuck on the top of the old label by yourself and you will need to book in a collection by yourself with DHL Express only.

When you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping covered by JJ Textile will be deducted from your refund.

Etsy collects VAT for certain countries (including most of Europe) and the VAT is included in the price that you pay when you checkout. If this is the case for your country, you will not have to pay any VAT when your item enters the country.

VAT and or Customs Duty may apply to your order.

The amount of customs duty will be assessed at the point of entry of the destination country. This may result in the buyer having to pay additional charges which are not included in the total price displayed at checkout. Customs duty only applies to goods where the value exceeds €150.

Etsy will collect VAT from EU buyers if the value of the package (excluding delivery and taxes) is less than or equal to €150.

For packages with a value more than €150, VAT (and customs) will be collected on import from the buyer by the postal carrier.

When goods are shipped into the US, the buyer is responsible for any fees/taxes/duty that may accrue on the merchandise when it clears Customs and Border Protection (“CBP”).

If any duty is owed, a processing fee could be charged to the buyer by CBP or the carrier/postal operator for clearing the package.

Etsy will calculate, collect and remit US sales tax for orders shipped to customers in US states that require it.
