Squash Blossom Turquoise Necklace. This is a beauty girls. This particular Squash Blossom necklace has 5 pointed squash blossoms which go up the sides of the necklace between the Navajo Style Pearls. Each Squash Blossom is decorated with traditional Style silversmith designs. The Naja crescent at the bottom is surrounded by Turquoise.

***Please note that this blossom necklace is made of genuine turquoise magnesite stone with natural matrix so no two necklaces will look exactly the same.***

What is Turquoise Magnesite Natural Stone and why do I use it…

Magnesite is a beautiful gemstone that looks very similar to genuine Turquoise. When cut and polished into cabochons or beads it features a dark thread of veins or a web-like matrix across its surface, making it a beautiful gem to use as a substitute for real turquoise. Because this is a porous gem it can easily be dyed and polished to create bold and vibrant colors. It’s often dyed to a light blue color and because of its matrix it resembles turquoise so closely many people cannot tell the difference.

Genuine turquoise has quadrupled in price in the last couple years and turquoise magnesite stone makes it possible for the rest of us to be able to afford a beautiful squash blossom, bracelet or earrings for a fraction of the cost.
