Can I sell what I make using the pattern I bought?

As long as you made it by hand (not a machine) you can sell the finished product. You cannot sell or give away copies of the pattern or graph.

Most of the patterns are 150 stitches wide (which comes to 4 feet when crocheted with medium weight yarn and a J sized hook). The patterns should have the size they come to in the description but I would say at least 9/10 of them are this size so it's a good guideline. Definitely check to make sure the pattern you're looking at it the size you want before purchasing. One of the reasons most of my patterns are 150 stitches wide is because I like that they can be sewn together into one blanket. I also think it's a good size for having room for detail without being so large that it takes forever to finish.

Can I order a custom pattern?

Yes! I make custom patterns for people all of the time. They usually cost between $15-45 each depending on how difficult they are to design and if I am able to resell them afterwards. Most of the patterns end up being $15 since usually customers are okay with me reselling them after and the customer is often asking for something I think will sell well to others afterwards. The $15 patterns are usually 150 stitches wide as well. This is not a guarantee that the pattern you would like to have designed will be this price, it is just my experience thus far. Custom and personalized orders

Yes. Custom tapestries usually cost between $250-400 (baby blankets often between $50-$150). The price is dependent on size and difficulty to create. Shipping is free within the U.S. These tapestries take anywhere from 15-40+ hours to create. If you can find someone else to crochet my work cheaper I am very happy to sell just the pattern and let them do so :)

Can I order custom jewelry?

Yes! I have a large selection of beautiful cabs and cameos. If you are interested in a custom piece let me know what kinds of stones you're looking for, shape or whatever details will give me an idea of what to send you example pictures of. Then you can pick out the one that you'd like to have wrapped and we can go from there! Smaller ones can be made into rings as well. Jewelry is usually made in solid sterling silver or copper but I do have other materials available so feel free to message me and see if we can get what you had in mind turned into reality!

Crochet baby blanket/ tapestry for a Chickadee

This pattern comes with both a graph and written instructions.
It is 100 stitches wide by 80 rows tall

I recommend a medium weight (worsted weight) yarn with a J sized hook.

It is all single stitch crochet. In order to make this blanket you will need to know how to carry yarn (there are great Youtube videos that can teach you how to do the Tapestry Crochet Technique.

You will need 3 skeins of blue, or background color (A), 2 skeins of black (B), 2 skeins of gray (C) and 1 skein of white (D) to complete this project. (assuming a medium weight yarn with about 350 yards per skein).

I recommend carrying the first 3 colors (A,B&C) through the entire pattern to keep it even. You can also carry D (white) through the entire pattern, but I only carried it in the areas it was needed. This is how I like to do it but other ways will work as well so if you’d prefer to carry more or less colors than feel free to do so 😊

The #'s are for each row
The letters are for different colors. (A = Blue (or background color), B = Black, C = Gray, D = White)
(so the above pattern would have the first row be 150 stitches of color A. 2nd row would have 30 stitches of color A followed by 20 stitches of color B followed by 10 stitches of color A and so on....)

Quite an odd pattern. It is basically ONLY the graph. There’s no gauge but there are total size measurements, so you’ll have to calculate those yourself. The pattern is just the written numbers for the graph, so I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone’s first graph pattern. It’s also clear from the photo that to meet the size indicated in the pattern, you must carry multiple strings throughout the ENTIRE pattern, which in my opinion looks sloppy. It’s odd that the pattern also results in a wider blanket than it is tall, and there’s no border pattern or suggestion.

Alex, it comes with a graph and a written pattern. The graph is in color and the written part explains how much yarn you'll need as well as having a breakdown of each row in the form of "A-1, B-27, C-8 etc....)" symbolizing how many stitches of each color as you go through the row. So I am confused about what you're talking about with it being only a graph. Did you receive the full pattern in the email? I focus the patterns on the image. If you'd like the finished blanket to be a square or taller you can continue the background for as long as you like to provide more height. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the pattern.
