Materials: white or light pink crepe paper between 140 and 180 g, Styrofoam egg, florists' wire between 0,6 and 1 mm, acrylic paint, scissors, pliers, PVA glue

With this easy tutorial you will learn how to make a flowering paper Protea in different states - closed, half open, open - responding to your mood and decoration ideas.

With this tutorial you will learn how to be a real paper flower creator.
Every petal and leaf you will have to shape by yourself. This process will train your brain in how to make decisions about the sizes, shapes and materials you use and will train your fingers in how to shape and sculpt the paper pieces. I just finished mine. The instructions were very easy to follow and lots of pictures. I had a difficult time figuring out the egg but I managed. I wish I had known to put the larger petals first. I had to go back and reattach.
