St. John's founder, Marie Gray, is best known for her knits, so this sweater vest is a rare treasure from St. John's beginnings. This sweater vest is totally 1970s, featuring a chevron knit with heathered yarn, creating a multi-colored effect in a neutral oatmeal tone. I love tie tie closure at the collar. It could be worn over a bralette for a more open look, but I also love it layered over a turtleneck, floral blouse, or long-sleeved dress. It fits most sizes. The materials are not listed, but it is most likely the wool blend that St. John is famous for pioneering.
Measurements: fits most sizes!
Chest: 34" across when "pulled together" although it could be worn more open
Length: 23"
