What do I need to use a SoftFrame® bed frame?

1) A BOX-SPRING - standard 8 to 9 inches tall (required and not included) 2) A MATTRESS (required and not included) SoftFrame® bed frame is designed to perfectly install over and around a standard 8" - 9" tall box-spring. The box-spring supports the mattress and provides the rigid structure all around the sides to create a super comfy and stable modern platform bed. Amazon delivers box-springs quickly (search: "9 inch tall high profile box-spring"), or they are easily found at your local mattress store.

Do I need a box-spring?

Yes. SoftFrame® Designs has a minimalist "Frame-Over-Box-Spring" design and perfectly installs over and around a standard 8” to 9” inch-tall box-spring (not included). Note: If you plan on lifting the bed with a standard metal bed frame for a FLOATING look, the box-spring height may vary from 5" to 9" inches-tall as shown on select listings. Amazon delivers box-springs quickly (search: "9 inch tall high profile box-spring"), or they are easily found at your local mattress store.

What if I only have a mattress with no box-spring?

If you need a box-spring, Amazon delivers box-springs for approximately $100 (search: "9 inch tall high profile box-spring"), or they are easily found at your local mattress store.

Can I use the bed frame on the floor?

Yes. Most of the shop images show the SoftFrame® bed frame placed on the floor. The ULTRA frame requires a standard 5 to 9 inch-tall box-spring. The LUNA and CLASSIC SoftFrame bed frame require a standard 7 to 9 inch-tall box-spring.

Can I raise it off the floor ?

Yes. The LUNA and CLASSIC SoftFrame bed frames can be lifted or raised to create a 'floating platform' look by using an optional standard metal bed-frame (not included). Note: Box-spring height may vary from 5" to 9" inches-tall if you plan to raise or lift your bed with a standard metal bed-frame (not included).

What are the care and cleaining instructions?

Do not remove the fabric cover. - Be sure to spot test any cleaning product in a small, inconspicuous place before applying. - Let the area air dry. - May also be steam cleaned.

Highlights

Designed by SoftFrameDesigns
Materials: Premium Upholstery Fabric, Specialty High Density Foam

Playful geometry and curved lines come to life in our newest SoftFrame® Designs Set! The Luna frame and headboard merge modernism and minimalism within the smooth flowing corners.

Designed to be used with a mattress & box-spring combination (not included), the SoftFrame® bed frame fits perfectly over a standard 8" to 9" box-spring and makes the box-spring disappear entirely. Leaving only a beautiful, ouch-less bed frame that is easy to love. The mattress rests on top.

Complete the look with our comfy bolster or our wedge which are perfect for relaxing in bed (sold separately).

For a low-profile bed that is low to the ground, use the bed frame with the box-spring directly on the floor. For a ‘floating bed’, raise the box-spring with a standard metal bed frame or by adding legs to your box-spring as shown on select listings.

Love this bed frame! The foam used throughout this bed is very high quality and compact. I don’t see it fading over time. Matches the pictures and looks great.
