We pride ourselves on good service and prompt posting wherever possible. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any queries and /or problems.

We attempt to ship all orders within 48 hours of receiving them. We aim to post on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (if possible). The secret behind the prompt service? Lorna is fortunate enough to have the village post office 100 yards up the road! 


Please be sure to enter your correct shipping address for purchases. We copy and paste all mail addresses for accuracy. If for any reason the parcel is returned to us as a result of incorrect address or no one being home to receive it, and you wish it to be re-sent, the charges will be at your expense.

UK orders
Our flat rate for Postage and Packaging (p&p) is $6.53, no matter the cost or weight of your order. We send all UK parcels via Royal Mail First Class, which includes proof of postage compensation for lost items up to the value of £25.

Orders over £100 in value will be automatically sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which is guaranteed the next day by 1pm. (Please note this is guaranteed from the day of postage not from the day you place the order).

Parcels in the UK usually arrive within 2 days – please note next day delivery is no longer automatic with 1st Class mail. If you need a parcel urgently, please contact us to ensure it goes Special Delivery – extra charges apply.

Please be aware that there are still some delivery delays at this time due to COVID19 and the additional demand placed on the Royal Mail which are out of our control.

International orders
All orders to be delivered outside of the UK will be shipped via Royal Mail airmail and are Tracked & Insured, irrespective of value. This will be at a flat rate for each shipping zone as per Royal Mail charges. It is therefore more cost effective for you to order smaller items as add on items to your order, as to mail very small items makes shipping much more expensive. Very small items have no add on shipping costs so you will not be paying more for them as add on items.

Flat rate Postage and Packaging (p&p) rates are:

EU, non-EU, Russia - $18.78

USA & Canada - $27.48

Australia & NZ - $27.48

Everywhere else - $24.58

A parcel to Europe usually arrives within 3-4 days, depending on where it is being posted to, and the rest of the world is anything from 5-10 working days, again depending on your parcel services. 

Please be aware that there are still some delivery delays at this time that are out of our control, due to COVID19 and the additional demand placed on the parcel & delivery services. We have seen parcels to US taking up a month to arrive.

Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.

PACKAGING

All of Lorna’s designer kits (full kits) are beautifully packaged and presented in sturdy carrier bags, making them very suitable as gifts. The pattern and print and pattern only kits come in a cellophane bag with a clear and detailed picture on a study card inner. Should you wish the kit to be wrapped for a special occasion let us know and we will do our best to fulfil any wishes.

All items are all wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and packed in padded white envelopes/boxes to protect the contents. As the tissue paper is acid free you can happily re-use it if you wish to wrap your embroidery work.

I am happy to consider commissions but do not take wholesale orders or send out on consignment.
