Origami Abstract Landscape Painting - aka Origami Sketch No43a collaboration with Anne-Marie Olczak based on my series of origami constructions. This one started out as an acrylic abstract urban landscape painting on paper with a turquoise blue, pink, black & grey colour palette. I cut the painting into squares, folded into origami units (pixels) and re assembled to form this compacted landscape with added dimension of geometric texture. The work is mounted onto Stonehenge paper & framed in a matte white wood frame with glass. I constructed the interior to add shadow box walls to match the back of the artwork. Signed & dated on the lower right by both artists. Ready to hang with wire hanging hardware.

This is a collaboration between myself and Toronto contemporary artist & friend Anne-Marie Olczak whom I asked to provide me with a few acrylic paintings on provided paper, giving her carte blanche with only one requirement in that it met the dimensions I required.

Total Framed Measurements: 15.1 x 19.1 x 1.25 inches / 38.3 x 48.5 x 3.2 cm
