Faith plants the seed, love makes it grow. These earth-friendly plantable paper crosses are a thoughtful and meaningful gift that keeps on giving. Each one has flower seeds embedded right inside the crosses. Plant them to grow! Shasta daisies, red and pink poppies, snapdragons, marigolds, zinnia, pink cosmos and more.

Now with the option to include pots for every cross (32 crosses, 32 pots, etc). See below for more information. Use the drop down menu to add the pots to your order.

Choose the cross color! We can make the plantable crosses in any color: Pink, baby blue, yellow, white, aqua, lilac, gray, etc.

The best part is - instead of creating waste, they can be planted to grow. Recipients have 18+ months to plant them, and longer when kept dry and out of direct sunlight. Plant like you would other seeds.

All cards can be personalized with a name on the front. The back has room for a special message above the planting instructions, but this must be ordered separately as an add on / extra cost ($5):

SIZE: Crosses are 3 inches tall, 2 inches wide. Cards are 2.5 inches wide x about 4 inches tall.

YES - these can be customized with different wording if needed. The palm frond graphic is set though.

{ POTS }
The pots are fiber pots, made from plants and are biodegradable. They are small and lightweight, not breakable. They are plantable too. Just large enough to start the seed paper to promote seed sprouting. Size is 2-3 inches, depending on what we have available to ship at the time. They are like the pot shown with the sprouts growing from it. Sold as stack, as a supply you can use to decorate as you wish.

Our handmade paper is made to order to promote freshness and contains a special mix of 'premium' garden flower seeds: Zinnia, pink cosmos, snapdragons, red and pink poppies, white daisies, blue cornflowers and flax, yellow calendula, dianthus/Sweet Williams, marigolds, black-eyed susans, godetia, and other desirable garden flower seeds. Other seed paper often contains too many lower quality 'wildflower' type seeds, such as baby's breath/sweet alyssum, that are considered weeds. Our premium quality seed mix contains a pollinator-friendly mix of both annuals, for first year color, and also perennials for blooms in years to follow. Herb seed paper, veggie seed paper, and custom seed paper with specific seeds are also available at extra cost.

Planting is simple but not foolproof. Plant like you would other seeds - under a thin layer of damp soil in full sunlight. Seeds sprout best in warm, damp soil. Shoots grow strongest in sunlight. You can plant our seed paper inside in a small pot or outside in a pot or garden space. Most flowers can bloom entirely indoors in a small pot using a heat mat and grow lights. For a custom shape, a piece can be designed. Something like that requires extra time and cost. It will typically be about $90-120 plus the cost of the pieces and will require at least 2-3 weeks lead time. Some pieces may have a higher cost ($200-250) depending on the nature of the design. It's not usually worthwhile unless you need to order thousands for a company event or promotion. In some cases, we may have a piece similar to what you are looking for that can be done for $30-80 instead.
