My 8-yr old granddaughter picked out the fabric from my stash and requested that I make her a hoodie out of it. It is French terry with a stretchy poly contrasting fabric. The pattern was easy to follow; directions had explicit pictures and all pieces fit together well. The only thing I did differently was bind the neck edge with the contrasting fabric, sew stay tape on the shoulders and top stitched or double stitched wherever I could so that the garment will last through many washings and several children.
