Highlights
Cakes To Cheer About 1941
From the estate of Ms. Dorothy who is known around here as "the chef to the astronauts". She cooked for NASA for over 2 decades and has author her own space themed cookbooks. Dated 1941.
Paperback, 16 pages, Cakes to Cheer About is a cookbook put out by Rumsford Baking Powder. The book begins with information about baking powder and includes various cake recipes. Included are such recipes as basic cake recipe, sponge cake, fruited spice cake, lady baltimore cake and many others. Filling & frosting recipes included.
In good overall condition, there is writing on the front cover where the owner says to save this book and don't give away. There is also a check mark or 2 next to a recipe. There is some scuffing of covers and fading, discoloration and some stain spots in the book. Nothing crazy major.
Measuring 5 inches x 7 inches.
