Made from automotive-grade outdoor vinyl, which is a rubbery plastic material. Under proper care, the decal is expected to last about 3 years or more exposed to the elements. It's water resistant, won't ever fade, and you can wash it, though be cautious about putting it in the extreme environment of the dishwasher and avoid getting too close to the graphic when scraping ice off your car. They are permanent, meaning they are intended to stay on whatever surface you apply them to, but you can still peel them off and best of all it will not leave sticky residue behind! It is safe for most any surface (smooth and flat surface is best, also it is not intended for use on fabric- you need a different kind of vinyl and a heat press for that).
