Lovely Wedding, Kentucky Derby, Melbourne Cup or Asot Hat. This hand draped hat was created by draping parasasil straw over an antique wood head block. I use heat, moisture and steam to make the fabric easily pliable for draping. Because of the shallow crown, this hat securely attaches to the head with a small, comfortable elastic band that goes under your hair in the back. The brim is beautifully shaped with crinoline edging.

Please indicate your head size measurement when ordering (measure your head horizontally just above your eyebrows). When you receive your hat, there will be a small ribbon inside to fine-tune the fit, and a hat box for safe storage.

I personally create each hat one at a time, and no two are ever exactly the same. My hats are 100% handmade using traditional Millinery techniques and the highest quality fabrics and details. Because of this, please allow 2-3 weeks before shipping, unless otherwise agreed upon.
