How do you manage custom tailored garments from afar?

I design with an easy sizing experience in mind, strategically balancing my designs to ensure a stress free, painless experience, and a flattering comfortable fit. With body measurements and few photos of the person I am able to create a well fitting garment, made specifically for you. Instead of fitting you inside a pre-conceived size, I fit the dress around you! So much better. A standard size is just a set of measurements in to which we are made to fit. By swapping those with your ACTUAL measurements, the result is much more accurate, flattering and comfortable. Standard sizing for ready to wear is also available however. How does sizing work?

Wedding dresses, unless they are one of a kind or samples, are all made to measure.This means I cannot make the dress until I have your accurate measurements and photos of you. I will email you a list of measurements I need to make your dress. For ready to wear, I can work with generic sizes but if you prefer a custom fit, you can simply provide the measurements needed, and I will cut it proportioned for you. If you can’t send me the measurements for whatever reason, choose the size closest to your body, and include a picture of yourself. Pictures help me proportion things well and are very useful! If you cannot or do not wish to send me measurements, here is my standard size chart. BRIDAL: how far from my wedding should I order my dress and how long will it take?

For a custom made wedding dress it is ideal to order about 3-4 months before the wedding. I can work with less time, up to a minimum of 4 weeks. Rush orders are available but fees may be involved, so do inquire before hand. To optimise my time, I organise my work around the wedding dates, not the dates of order. I will need to know the exact date of your wedding and will deliver your dress with about 4 weeks advance minimum, often more. If you feel more comfortable with more time, just let me know and I will work my schedule around that. I usually also have a selection of sample or one of a kind dresses in a few sizes that can be shipped out immediately provided that they fit you.

And how long does it take for ready to wear?

All custom ready to wear garments will typically be made and shipped within 10 workdays. Everything ships expedite so you would typically receive your garment within 10 workdays from date of order. Do inquire about rush order options.

Can I customise or alter any of your designs?

Yes! I love custom work and love to mix and match elements of my designs, so ask away! I do not do copies of other people’s designs, but feel free to send me reference images as inspiration as well. There is no fee involved, the price will be calculated as for all my designs, based on material and complexity and time involved in the making of it.

Can you help me with alterations?

Sometimes it is best to have certain things done locally (perfecting the length of a dress, shortening a strap, etc), but I am always available for advice and am willing to do alterations on your Larimeloom garment, usually free of charge, provided you pay for shipping back and forth. The best thing is to get in touch so we can discuss the issue.

Anthericum ~ Layered Chiffon Wedding Dress

Sweet and fresh, like a flower. Soft ruffles, light silk, a splash of delicate floral lace.

The bodice is structured, fully boned and with a corset lace-up. It’s neckline is cut gently rounded, and it is made of a pale blush color silk, stitched all over with ivory thread, and overlaid with ivory corded lace, hand cut and stitched to the bodice to look like climbing vines.

The flowing skirt is soft and gathered, with layers of white silk, cut to reveal a rosy blush colored bottom layer.
The design is played around the intertwining of the blush and the white silks, blending them to achieve a beautiful seashell color. It can be made in all ivory, or in all bridal white as well.

The romantic silk chiffon cap sleeves can be worn both on and off the shoulder. These are optional: if you’d prefer it strapless, with halter straps or with spaghetti straps just let me know.

100% silk.
Dry clean only. Iron with a lot of steam and on a medium setting. Please test on an inner part of the garment.

• MEASUREMENTS:
The dress is a sample sale. you will receive the exact one in the photos.

• SHIPPING:
I will use expedited Fedex shipping, that will deliver in about 3-4 workdays in most parts of the world. Please provide a physical address (not a P.O. box) and a phone number in the note to seller.
