Vintage 1960s Silk Two Piece Fish Print Dress | XS S

A vintage 1960s silk twill top and skirt set with a delightful print of pink and white fish on a turquoise blue background.

*set is silk twill
*top has: pullover top with three snap closures at top of right shoulder; darts at bust; single slit at left hip; darts at back collar; fully lined
*skirt has: side nylon Talon zipper and hook closure; banded waist; gathers at front hips; darts at back hips
*a line of faint fading and discoloration at the top of the left shoulder, near the snap closures--see pic
*very good condition overall, with no other stains, and no holes or tears

No size tag; set measures like a US women's XS-S.

top measurements:
*37" / 94 cm bust (bust has been taken in approximately 1" / 2.5 cm at the widest, so it may be possible for you or a skilled seamstress to undo this and make the bust a bit bigger)
*37" / 94 cm waist
*armholes measure 14 1/2" / 36.75 cm in circumference
*18 1/4" / 47 cm top center back collar seam to bottom hem

skirt measurements:
*26" / 66 cm waist (hook closure appears to have been moved in to make waist smaller; if hook is moved back to its original position, waist would measure 27" / 68.5 cm)
*40" / 101.5 cm hips (measurement taken 8" / 20.25 cm down from top of waist)
*25 1/4" / 64 cm top waist to bottom hem
*skirt has 3 1/8" / 8 cm hemmed
