Brass beetle or scarab locket necklace. Perfect for the entomologist or bug lover!
Beautiful brass beetle with nice detail. Paired with a tear drop shaped locket. Fantastic detail on this insect!
The ancient Egyptians used the image of the beetle, or scarab as a protection or amulet. It symbolizes immortality and transformation.
The brass charm measures 1 1/4' by 3/4". The locket inside measures a tiny 15mm by 10mm, at its widest point.
I offer two types of chains for this necklace. You may choose a plain brass chain, or a figaro chain, which you can see in the second and third photos.
You may also choose a custom chain length in the drop down menu above.

It is soooo cute! It arrived right as expected, and the size is perfect! I feared it would be a huge gaudy statement piece, but it’s relative to the size of a quarter.
