A4 Maths activity printed on card and laminated. Comes with 5 frame, 5 apples, 10 counters, mini number cards 1-5
*Can be used as a counting activity, one to one correspondence activity, for number bonds 1-5 or to understand making number 5.
*The A4 sheet has a tree with mini apples velcroed. The 5-frame at the bottom represents the apples. Pick a card and put as many apples on the tree as the numeral. *This helps with number recognition, counting and one to one correspondence (for each number, the child puts one apple)
*The child then puts as many counters as the numeral (number of apples) on the 5 frame
*Also can be used to show 'how many more' we need to make number 5, which is simple Addition/subtraction/number bonds skills. Have some apples on the tree and some on the ground. Use one color of counters to show the apples on the tree and the other color to show the apples on the ground. Your 5 frame will be complete in 2 different colours. Talk about what this means with your child. This will build foundations of number bonds in Maths at a very young age.
