⭐ THE BACKSIDE: What the heck is up with the backside on my item? Machine embroidery needs a “stabilizer” on the back of the stitches to provide stabilization to the stitches and to reduce the pulling of the fabric that the stitches may do. Your design will last longer if properly stabilized. So that stuff you are seeing is actually a good thing! The stabilizer I use 99% off the time is washaway meaning any little bits that are left will be dissolved in the wash. Due to possible allergies, I personally wash your items as little as possible. Please note that some items DO require me to wash prior to embroidering otherwise the design will shrink and pull into itself resulting in an ugly design.

⭐ Please note that flour sack towels are meant to have an old fashioned look to them. Therefore they are often a bit wonky although I do try the source the least wonky ones as possible! The towels I use are not thin and cheap but are high quality 100% cotton made in India towels. I have tried (and returned!) many different towels. I have a commercial steam iron and I do press them but they are certainly not totally wrinkle free as that is not the norm for these types of towels. Please see important note regarding Flour Sack/Dish Towels.

⭐ The side striped dish towels I use are super absorbent and sturdy 100% cotton. They are softer than Flour Sack towels but can be “linty” as soft towels often are.
UPGRADE! Dish Towels are a bit more expensive than Flour Sacks but I cn put any Flour Sack design on a Dish Towel at your request. There will be an upcharge for the change which will be taken care of as a custom order.
