These rings feature genuine pieces of Chinese Ming Dynasty porcelain, set in sterling silver.I bought them from a Chinese family who have been dealing in antique Ming and Quing dynasty vases for generations and who accumulated large stocks of broken fragments. They had the idea to make these pieces up into jewellery.
The rings are very strong and sturdy made with thick and solid sterling silver 925.
.There is a choice of 3 rings. They are all UK size Q. (US: 8.25, EU: 58)
Ring 1: Bird : 2.6 cm across.
Ring 2: Willow :2.7 cm across. This one is slightly bigger in size -between Q and R/ US 8.5
Ring 3: Large Oval : 3.5 cm long and 2.5 cm wide.
I have been making my living exclusively from designing and making jewellery for 9 years. I travel every year to seek out old and tribal silver from Asia and India along with semi-precious stones. Back at home in Brighton, England, I make these loose pieces up into beautiful and unusual jewellery.
Every item will be send beautifully packaged in a cotton gift bag made especially for me by a women's self help group in India.
