Some of your stickers have the option to add lamination. How do I know if I need lamination?

There are several factors to consider when deciding whether or not to laminate your stickers. 1. Durability: If your stickers will be exposed to outdoor elements or heavy use or excessive handling (phones or water bottles, for example) lamination can help to increase their lifespan and protect against damage from weather, abrasion, or other factors. 2. Appearance: Lamination can enhance the appearance and feel of your stickers, providing a glossy or matte finish. Most of our stickers have either a matte or luster finish, which has a silky feel to the touch. 3. Cost: Lamination does add an extra cost to your stickers. Depending on your budget and the intended use of the stickers, you may need to weigh the cost and benefits.

Do you make your own stickers, or do you outsource them?

StickerGal is a USA based, woman-owned, LGBTQ-owned, small-business. We're proud to say that we make all of our stickers in-house from our print shop in North Little Rock, AR. By manufacturing our own products, we have complete control over the quality of our stickers from design to end-recipient, and we can ensure that each and every one meets our high standards before they are shipped to you. Are your stickers waterproof? Weatherproof? Dishwasher safe?

Yes, yes, and yes! Our stickers are waterproof, dishwasher safe* and great for outdoor use. We use UV resistant solvent inks and outdoor vinyl rated for 3+ and 5+ years depending on the product. Additionally, some of our products have an added layer of lamination for extended durability. *While our stickers are designed to be durable and long-lasting and have survived hundreds of dishwasher tests without damage, for the longest lifespan, we recommend hand-washing them or using the top rack of the dishwasher. Some detergents and high water temperatures can reduce the life of your stickers.

Are your stickers removable?

Yes, vinyl stickers are removable and generally safe for many different surfaces, but the ease of removal can depend on several factors, such as the quality of the sticker adhesive, the length of time the sticker has been applied, and the surface material. To remove a vinyl sticker, start by gently peeling back one corner of the sticker. If it comes off easily, continue peeling until the entire sticker is removed. If the sticker is difficult to remove, you can use a hair dryer on low heat to warm up the adhesive. If any residue is left behind, dampen a cloth, cotton ball or Q-tip with rubbing alcohol and gently rub the adhesive residue until it loosens. Note: Always test any cleaning solution on a small, inconspicuous area first.

What is an "Inside Window Cling" ?

An inside window cling is a type of decal that is designed to be applied to the inside of a window, facing outwards. This type of cling uses a static to stick to the window. We have had customers report vandalism to their LGBTQ+ outside clings and stickers (thankfully not very often). Inside clings are a great option to use when you want to display an item without it being easily accessible to passers by to damage or remove. Another benefit of inside window clings is that they can be easily removed and repositioned without leaving behind any residue, making them a great option for temporary advertising or decoration. They are also one of our most eco-friendly options because with appropriate care, they can be reused for many years.
