The beautiful bowl arrived in perfect condition--really well-wrapped. It made a beautiful gift. The 8-inch bowl is appropriate for display or serving, although I wouldn't really consider it large enough to be classified as a salad bowl. The inner surface is not quite as shiny as the outside, but it is striking and definitely a conversation piece. The artist customized the color for me and was very pleasant and accessible in our dealings. Thank you for an excellent transaction, Mira!
