Custom Year Penny Earrings with Golden Czech Glass Beads, choose a milestone year, family keepsake, Canadian souvenir, coin collector gift

Since the discontinuation of the iconic Canadian copper penny, the question came up of what to do with all that loose change thrown into drawers and piggy banks. Naturally, I had to make jewellery out of mine! These make the perfect collectable, unique, novelty earrings.

Personalise these earrings by choosing a milestone year, such as a birth, anniversary or graduation. The pennies feature the maple leaf and hang 1 1/4" from a copper ear wire. Hanging from the penny is a 6mm Czech glass bead, golden in colour with an iridescent blush. The total drop from your earlobe is 1 3/4"

Consider His & Hers birth years for newlyweds, siblings years, etc... any combination to make it special. These will be a very personal keepsake for yourself or someone you love. And all within your budget!

These are made with Canadian pennies; I do not have access to currencies from other countries. Also, remember, the last year the penny was minted was 2012!

If the year doesn't matter and you are thinking of them as a Canadian souvenir, may I recommend 2002. This was Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee year; the dates of her reign are on the back and the space where the year usually is imprinted is blank.
