CANDLE CARE
The first time you light your candle, let it burn for 3-4 hours to allow the melted wax to reach the edge of the container to prevent tunneling.

Don't place a burning candle near clothing, books, curtains, or anything flammable. Keep burning candles away from drafts, ceiling fans, and any air currents. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles when you leave a room or before going to sleep. Discontinue burning when only 1/4 inch of wax remains in the container.

WAX MELT USE
Simply break away 1-2 cubes and place them in your electric tart or tealight warmer. Always use with caution around pets and children as wax can become hot. Wax melts are a great alternative to candles for people who prefer not to have or are unable to have an open flame (i.e. college students in dorm rooms). They do not have wicks and are not candles. You must have a warmer to melt them.
