We believe in recycling and re-using as much as we can, so we will gently pack your newly purchased treasure for shipping in clean re-used boxes and packing material whenever possible. In some instances we may choose to use new packaging either because of the item size, or fragility.

Jewelry items will be placed in cardboard jewelry boxes, packaged carefully and mailed in a padded envelope of appropriate size. Most jewelry items will be sent USPS First Class Package Services unless upgrade in shipping is chosen at time of purchase.

We do not offer gift wrapping at this time.

Most of our vintage and antique items have been pre-owned, well-loved and used. Jewelry, clothing and accessories are pre-worn. All of our listings will most likely have some signs of wear or minor flaws. We try to describe them as accurately as possible and point out those flaws in the description, but occasionally we may miss something. Photos are taken from many angles, with closeups. We ask that you inspect all photos carefully, read descriptions fully, and please message any questions prior to buying. If there are questions that arise after a purchase or you are unhappy with your item, please contact us first so we can work to remedy the situation - we want you to be satisfied with your Red Shutter Vintage experience!

We are happy to ship multiple items together and will promptly refund shipping overcharges above $1.50.

Please be aware that our shipping costs are estimated, so they may not always be precisely calculated. We will refund the purchaser any shipping overcharges above $1.50. If a guest purchases more than one item we will do our best to ship multiple items in the same package, thus reducing shipping costs.

Special Note On Holiday Shipping: As you may know during the holidays some areas may experience delays with USPS deliveries. We ship most of our orders the next business day, but carrier delays may cause your package to arrive later than anticipated. We have no control over that issue, and politely ask for your patience during the busy holiday shipping time.

We have many other items that are not currently listed. If there is something that you are looking for but don't see it in our shop right now, please message us! We may have it in our pre-listed storage, and would be happy to share pics and create a listing for you.

Due to the vintage nature of our items we normally do not accept returns, but we very much want you to be happy with your purchase! If you are not satisfied or are unhappy with your item please contact us at Red Shutter Vintage right away, so we can work with you to resolve the situation.

Understanding that life can get pretty busy sometimes, we will hold reserved listings for a period of 7 days from the date it was initially reserved, unless the requester has made extended arrangements through an ETSY message. If no such request is made then after 7 days the reserved listing will return to being available and open for purchase by someone else. We sincerely appreciate your understanding on this policy.
