Antique Silverplate Cup Victorian Cottage Chic

A silverplate child's cup engraved with flowers and leaves circa 1890. Made by the Derby Silver Company (1872-1898) located in Derby, Connecticut---this company merged with other silver companies and became the well known International Silver Company.

A lovely Alice In Wonderland feel---the patina is dark with a rainbow reflection. The flowers shine as does the monogram on the far side of the handle. It's a little bit magical. There are scratches at the bottom of the cup (inside and on the base). It's in cottage chic condition--not pristine but would look just right on a shelf.

3" Tall
2.75" in Diameter
