One chef hat sized for your pet rat. Great for photo shoots, holiday dress up, or just for fun!

Elastic band secures the item around the rat's neck. Multiple sizes available. The Small (6 cm size) is only available in a black neckband color. All cape colors will have the black band for that size. If ordering any other size we will try to match the color of the neckband as closely as we can to the color of the item. If we are not able to find a suitable neckband in that color (some colors are seasonal), we will use black as the default color for all item colors.

If you would like a specific color that is not listed, please message us. We welcome custom requests, however there is an added 10% minimum fee for all requests outside of what is available with the standard listing.

Items are made to order. We do not ship Saturday or Sunday. We do get everything out as quickly as possible, but your item may take up to 2 weeks to ship. If you are trying to receive your costume by a specific date, please use the Priority Shipping option for faster delivery. Free shipping is always First Class unless an additional amount for a shipping upgrade is paid. Delivery times during October-January will be slower due to a higher volume of packages being processed by USPS. Please order at least 28 days prior to any special event if using First Class Shipping and 21 days prior if using Priority Mail.

Pet costumes are worn with varying amounts of tolerance by pets. Your rat may or may not like wearing a costume. We do not offer refunds on any of our pet costumes as we cannot resell them at the risk of potentially spreading zoonotic diseases. Thank you for your understanding. We want to keep your pet safe! Also, cancellations on orders are only accepted within 48 hours of purchase AND if your order has not yet shipped.

Sizing Help:
-Small is recommended for a mouse or baby rat. It may also fit dwarf hamsters.
-Medium is recommended for most female adults or juvenile/small male rats(approx. 700g or less). May also fit larger hamsters.
-Large is recommended for adult male rats, however, rats over 850g may have larger neck circumferences.
-xLarge is for pets around the size of a guinea pig. Some guinea pigs may be too large, however.
*Please be sure to measure your pet’s head and neck to see which size may fit best. The size listed is the approximate neck circumference that the size will fit.

If you are purchasing for an animal other than a rat, please keep in mind that we do not have experience with every pet that may be able to wear our costumes. The bands are stretchy to accommodate going on over a head that is about 1-2cm larger than the stated size. They may fit larger, but we cannot guarantee fit for any animal that we do not fit in person ourselves.
