Handcrafted cypress bat boxes sealed on the outside with penetrating oil product.
The inside is all natural wood with a soft unfinished rough texture. The bats will land on the soft landing area and climb inside to hang upside down.
The bat box will 80-100 bats.
One bat can consume up to 3000 mosquitoes per night or 1/2 its own body weight per night.
Mount on pole, trees, barn 10-18 feet above the ground with plenty of open area in front for ease of entry and exit.
Putting the house/box up in early spring increases the chances of occupancy during the first year, however it is not unusual to take 1-2 years before a guest moves in. A beautiful addition to your backyard habitat.

This item is super! The houses arrived much earlier than expected with instructions on how to mount them. They are great quality and I really like the bat detail on the front. I definitely recommend this shop.
