While on holiday in Japan in 2019 we were at a small train station outside Kyoto and I noticed this intriguing scene on the opposite platform. I love the way the shape of the two sitting people echoes the pattern on the roof and for me the stillness of the scene says a lot about Japanese people and their patience. This is one of my favourite photos from our trip to Japan.

Printed in small batches in our home studio in Glasgow using heavyweight Illford Galeri 310 gsm professional photo paper for museum quality results.
