THE LEATHER - Strong, top-grain buckskin. Measures 4-5 oz. 1.5-2.5mm thick. Every hide is different. These are wild animal hides, with a variation in markings, thickness, and shades, giving the leather character that you could never find in mass-produced clones.

THE CONSTRUCTION - I don't use thread. The boots are stitched together with round cowhide leather lacing. I make most sizes for men and women. If you need something special, just ask! I use one modern upgrade: modern laces. Leather laces wear out and get broken more often. If you would rather have real leather laces, just ask!

THE COLORS - The color of available leather is always changing. I do my best to stock beiges, light browns, and dark browns. Keep in mind that every hide is unique. Finding exact colors can be difficult, which is why I don't have a color swatch in the listing. I can usually order most other colors relatively quickly. Don't be afraid to send me a message if you have a particular color in mind, and I'll do my best to find it.

SIZING - Because moccasins are soft-soled and leather stretches, getting your exact size usually isn't necessary. Keep in mind that if you buy your exact size, you're likely to have extra room above the toes. This can be great if you plan to wear socks or if you don't like restrictive shoes. However, if you prefer a snug fit more like a leather glove, and could be wearing these barefoot, I would suggest ordering one size down. I can make custom size adjustments, so don't be afraid to ask.
