These handsome trough planters are a perfect addition to your garden and outdoor spaces. Not only are they stunning, they are built to last, made using the finest heavy duty British steel!

We laser cut the steel to ensure our design is precisely and consistently replicated for each item. Once the laser cutting is complete, we use computer aided technology to fold the sheet steel to form the sides of the trough. When we have folded the steel we complete the fabrication of the trough by hand using only the best, qualified fabricators who take immense pride in their work.

Each trough has a double folded return lip feature. A lot of similar products on the market leave a steel edge, or a single fold. We have opted for a double fold for several reasons: 1. It’s a much higher quality, premium finish, 2. It gives the trough unbelievable strength and rigidity, and 3. It just looks so much better!

We fully seam weld the corners and connecting sides and spend the time and effort to linish the welds to provide amazing corner and edge detail. Because these are handmade items by our professional fabricators each trough is ever so slightly unique adding to the charm of this product.

The base is stich welded into the inside of the trough to the bottom folds mean all you see when the planter is in use in the folded steel corner of the planter disappearing underneath. We have included drainage holes in the bottom of the planter to give adequate drainage to your plants. We can produce without drainage holes on request.

The troughs are available in a raw steel finish as standard. This finish develops a beautiful unique orange patina over time.

We can powder coat your planter to any RAL colour on request. There is an additional charge of this depding on the size of the planter. We zinc prime the steel as an undercoat before coating with your desired colour to give long lasting durable finish.

These products are suitable for domestic, commercial, indoor and outdoor use.

No maintenance is required unlike wooden or plastic alternatives! All you have to do to is fill with soil, plant your chosen plants and enjoy for years to come!

Due to the natural weathering process the “run off” from rainwater and watering may stain the surface the planter is placed upon. This a higher risk during the 1st 6 months of the weathering process.

The planter can take 6 to 9 months to develop a full orange patina finish. Where possible we have started this process for you, planters could be delivered in various stages of the weathering process from new steel to full patina.

We make everything to order. Lead time is 2 to 3 week but we always aim to delivery before then. Powder coated finsihes will add some time onto the lead time, please enquire about this for more info.

All dimension are in milimeters and in Length x Width x Height format. For example, the planter option 2000 x 500 x 600 is 2000mm long, 500mm Wide and 600mm high.

All sizes come with 15mm feet which gives the impression of the planter hovering above the surface you place it on. If you do not want feet or drainage holes, please include this request in your notes when ordering or message us separately. Once production is stated we may not be able to accommodate requests.
