"The SwampWitch" is one of several witch themed photographs for "The Masquerade" series which opened in galleries on April 6th, 2012. The project is a collection of photographs depicting characters wearing masks created by Chris Guarino. The idea behind "The Masquerade" project was to show the juxtaposition created between the bizarre masks and the beauty of the human form. Each mask is its own character, and every character finds its home in its own dark environment. "The Swamp Witch" depicts a sultry character with erie allure standing thigh high in the bayou. This same character is also featured in: "Poison Witch," "The Witch," and "The Green Eyed Witch."
