I forge these cooking plates one at a time using a coal forge, hammer, and swage block (see pictures).
If your looking for something even more compact and lighter weight than a folding handle skillet then look no further. Great for cooking on and eating off of. These are also great to add to your folding handle skillet to have an extra plate or cooking surface.
These come fully seasoned and ready to cook on. Just as a little cooking oil or grease when cooking and they are extremely non stick.
The 6 inch diameter size weighs about 8.2 ounces.
The 7 inch diameter size weighs about 11 ounces.

I was tired of lugging around large cast iron skillets along with dinnerware. These are easily portable and saves weight and packing space! It basically combines cooking and plating- just eat right off the skillet (it’s like a plate!). Do your research on proper care and maintenance (which is super fun and easy). Love this set! Will buy more in the future after I test on a month long overlanding trip!
